How To Plan the Birthday Party Theme: One for the Books
ONE FOR THE BOOKS
As a parent who loves all kinds of stationary this one is close to perfect!
Please know that the links I have shared are affiliate links. If you choose to purchase from my links, I may receive a commission at no cost to you.
Mom-to-Mom: If you love the book theme, but your little one isn’t turning One this year, you can change the theme name to Chapter (insert age they are turning).
1. Shop The One for the Books Party Essentials
In this section, I’m going to keep it as a simple checklist. These are the must have items for any party!
The Invitations: I love a good digital invitation to save money. I typically build mine out in Canva, and then send it via text. However, if you are looking to send a paper invitation I would suggest looking at Etsy to see what is available!
Tableware Base: If you stick around to read my other blog posts, you will come to find I love a good solid color for tableware. I feel it saves money and adds an elevated feel look to a children’s party.
Activities to Keep Little One’s Busy:
Goodie Bags: I like to provide goodie bags that are consumable, or a “higher” dollar item. There is nothing worse than coming home from a party with new small toys that are choking hazards. For this theme, I have a few to share! I would dream up a “library” station, and let the kids choose a book to take home. Otherwise, if you prefer a consumable goodie, you could bag up cookies or gummy worms! Below I have shared a couple images of what I found on Pinterest.

2. Shop The One for the Books Decorative Pieces
The fun part of the party, decorating! Below I have curated the backdrops, balloons, table accents, cake decorations and toppers. In this blog post, I have only included a handful of links, but my Storefront has many other items you can pick and choose from.
Entire One for the Books Party Decor Kit: If you’re looking for an all-in-one package, this is a great option!
Table Accents: Think pastel purple, pink or even black table cheesecloth with white tablecloths with balloon centerpieces!
Cake & Food Toppers: The smash cake topper, and candle to make a wish! Cupcakes are a great way to serve your guests, these cupcake toppers are a nice addition, but if you decide to make one large cake for your guests, these cake decorations will fit the theme!
